Entry Conditions

Event or training participation Yonshin Kai

In consideration of the Organiser permitting me, the Participant, to participate in the event I agree with it as follows:

I will abide by the Rules & Regulations of the Organiser as to the training and to the use of the Organiser’s facilities and the directions of the Organisers including the right to terminate or cancel my training and the use of the Organiser’s facilities at any time and for any reason.

The personal information I have supplied to the Organiser is true and correct and I have read and understood all of theses conditions before accepting to participate in the event and using the Organiser’s facilities at any time.

In agreeing or accepting these conditions, I assert that (a) I am presently in good physical and mental health; (b) I have no reason to believe that I am not in good physical and mental health; (c) I am fully aware of, and do acknowledge and assume all risk of injury inherent in my participation in this training seminar; (d) I have read and fully understood the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

I further agree that in my intention to participate in the event I also agree that this Agreement be legally binding upon me, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, the student hereby waive, release and forever discharge the Organiser, and all of their agents, representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, of and from any and all damages, claims, demands, rights and causes of action of whatsoever kind and nature, arising, and by reason of any and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen physical and mental injuries and consequences thereof, suffered by me during any and all training and related activities undertaken with or in conjunction with the Organiser. I further agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations as set from time to time.

A tax invoice and certificate of attendance will be provided to each participant on the day of the Seminar. Cheques or mondey orders should be made payable to Desuka Pty. Ltd. or you can pay online via the YSK Shop. Monies paid will not be refunded if requested less than seven days to the seminar. Monies need to be paid in full to ensure entry and participation.

In these Entry Conditions the following words shall respectively mean:

- "the event" - the Seminar, Master class or any training program

- "the Participant" - the person named as such on the registration application form or person attending the event

- "the Organiser" – Goshu Karate-do Yonshin Kai (trading name of Desuka Pty. Ltd. ABN 38 126 187 406) and any instructors, lecturers, directors, officers, advisors, employees, agents, licensees, sub-contractors, subsidiaries, holding companies, associates and assignees, or any person associated with the organiser in any way

- "the Organiser's facilities" - the land & buildings associated with any training or any part of the training, accommodation or training venue

- "use of the Organiser's facilities" - the use by the student or his attempted use of the Organiser's facilities whether such use or access is in breach of this agreement or the Organiser's Rules & Regulations or authorised or otherwise and whether intended to be so used or not

- "damages" - all loss or damage, costs or expenses, whether direct or indirect flowing from any legal liability, claim, demand, right of action, proceedings or judgment of whatever nature and whether arising at law or in equity and whether suffered to the person or property of the Organiser, the Participant, or any other person or corporation and whether arising out of or consequent upon the negligence of the Organiser, the Participant or otherwise

- "Rules & Regulations" - the Rules & Regulations are the Rules & Regulations relating to any training available from the Organiser, and include all amendments or alterations to the Rules & Regulations made from time to time

Yonshin Kai is the modern day embodiment of traditional karate built on four core karate styles originally developed in Okinawa and mainland Japan. Traditional karate was heavily influenced by the Chinese Nei Jia martial arts. We explore these Chinese styles as supplementary learning.
