By accessing this site, you agree to the terms and conditions as outlined in this legal notice. YSK reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion. You may view this website and its contents using your web browser and save a copy of the website, or part thereof on your computer for the sole purpose of viewing it. This Statement sets out information about privacy protections we extend to any personal information we may gain via our domain names (www.yonshinkai.com) operated through this website or in the course of carrying out teaching services or administering the Members' Forum.

We mainly collect personal information directly from members, persons attending seminars or persons requesting information. In some circumstances, we collect personal information about persons from a third party source. This is usually a referral or reference being provided for commercial purposes only. If we happen to collect personal information about you that is not available in the public domain, we will take reasonable steps to contact you and ensure that you are aware of the purposes for which we have collected the information and the organisations to which we might disclose your personal information. Generally, the type of personal information information we collect will include such items as name, mailing address, telephone number/s and email address.

We may also collect personal information through your use of this website. As is common practice with many commercial websites, we may collect aggregate data about the quantum and frequency of visitors accessing this website. This may be in the form of hits or other similar data conveying trends in the access of website content. The personal information we may collect about you through this website includes any details submitted via an email or the accessing of content. Membership

We maintain the confidentiality of member details, including personal information at all times. Member confidentiality applies excepts where disclosure of a member's personal information is made with that members's prior consent or as required by law. Members of the Members' Forum will have access to their personal information held on them through that Forum. Members are able to change or update their own personal information online via the Mebers' Forum.

By submitting your membership application you authorise Desu-Ka Pty. Ltd (trading as Goshu Karate-do Yonshin Kai) to charge your account at the price selected. You will be offered the opportunity to automatically renew your subscription online at the expiry of stated term, unless you cancel your subscription. Trial membership of the Members' Forum is for a limited period and each applicant is entitled to only one trial membership application.

We are not obliged to accept applications of subscriptions or memberships to our Members' Forum. We reserve the right to accept, vary or terminate memberships.  

Subscriptions to our Members' Forum for Associate Membership status will be billed in Australian dollars (AUD). Residents of Australia will be subject to a Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the applicable rate. GST will be imposed at the time of billing, as applicable. Australian Residents should print off the invoice generated at the time of billing as this will serve as your Tax Invoice.

Billings and conversions will be carried our by PayPal. We do not guarentee the security of PayPal's systems, procedures or conversions. We refer you to the PayPal website should you have queries in relation to security and payment conditions. To transact via PayPal you will not be required to have a PayPal account. 

Linked websites and organisations will be responsible for their own privacy practices. We recommend that you satisfy yourself with their approach to privacy by checking their websites or contacting the respective organisation.

We will, on request, provide you with access to personal information we hold about you. Your request should be as detailed as possible and directed to YSK. Our contact details are listed in the Contacts page in this website. Your request to obtain access will be dealt with in a reasonable time. We may also levy an access fee to recover cost associated with providing information requested. If we refuse to provide you with access to the information requested, we will provide you with reasons for refusal.

When we send group emails to members or subscribers, we will sometimes use web beacons to track who opened and who clicked. We do this to measure the performance of our email campaigns, and to improve our offerings to specific client segments.

Once in our possession, we will protect the security of personal information, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Unfortunately, the security of data transmitted over the Internet can never be guaranteed as totally secure. We will strive and have software and procedures in place to protect such information transmitted, however we advise that you transmit such information at your own risk.

If a request is rejected or terminated, we are not obliged to advise the basis for our decision. Members of the Members' Forum can terminate their membership or alter their details via the links provided or sending us an email request. We will endeavour to act on these requests within a reasonable time frame and send a confirmation email to the respective subscriber once their request has been action by us. We are not obliged to return membership or subscription fees, in full or in part, if you terminate your membership at any time during a year.
