Syllabus
Diverse and traditional
The syllabus at the Yonshin Kan is quite diverse and traditional. It includes Naha-te (Goju-Ryu & Aragaki Ryu), Shuri-te (Shorin Ryu), Hakutsuru (White Crane Gong Fu) and Nei Chia (Chinese internal arts). The central theme of keiko (our training) is authentic karate budo as expressed through the Bubishi. The Bubishi is the essence of traditional karate teachings handed down from Master to most senior senior student in Japan over the last two centuries. The Founding Instructors' Sensei in Japan is Ohtsuka Tadahiko, Hanshi. He is the world renowned expert on Bubishi and his teachings are reflected in our syllabus.
